Bryan Boyd


Bryan Boyd is a theatre professor and the resident scenic and lighting designer at George Fox University in Newberg, OR.

His designs for George Fox include scenery, lighting, projections, and masks. Off campus, Bryan has designed for Artists Repertory Theatre (Portland, OR), Northwest Children’s Theatre (Portland, OR), Sound Theatre Company (Seattle, WA), Seattle Music Theatre (Seattle, WA), and WWU Summer Repertory Theatre (Bellingham, WA).

Bryan has an MFA from the University of Portland and has received several awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, including being named one of its 2006 Celebrated Teaching Artists.

In the summer, Bryan runs the Theatre Design Institute, a series of graduate courses for high school theatre teachers. More information can be found at
